Two years after the tragic murder of George Floyd, elite professional services organizations are intensifying their diversity efforts. But sadly, many people of color, particularly Black employees at elite professional services firms, still struggle to succeed. We are pleased to share our recently completed research report: “Moving the Needle: Accelerating Racial Diversity in Elite Professional Firms” which uncovers the reasons why many elite professional service firms struggle to make headway on their DEI initiatives and offers a framework for accelerating diversity and making continuous improvement across the board.
The report offers real world examples of what elite law firms have to done to accelerate their DEI progress based on interviews with managing partners of major law firms like Akin Gump, Greenberg Traurig, Paul Weiss, Skadden Arps, Dentons, and McGuireWoods.
